IMO, any factory big block/4-speed car is worth collecting. The late 60s Impalas haven't really caught on yet, but they eventually will.

Would be nice if it were to be a 427 Super Sport, last time I seen one of those was 30 years ago.

I've been looking for a 67-69 ss 427 Impala for sometime and I'll tell you that the prices are getting way up there even the 396's with the 4 speed.Better get it while you can!!!

I had a bronze '67 Impala SS 396 4-speed brand-new in '67 - redlines, disc brakes, buckets, console, etc. Wish I still had it today

I still got my '69 Impala ss 427 4-speed with console. I have had it since 1976 and bought it for $900 with 40,000 miles on it. I have never seen another one like it although they have been advertised in Hemmings. It seems they still don't bring the big money. It doesn't matter to me I would never sell anyway. Fastorgange, I did see a 68' ss396 one time and it had a really unique ss emblem on the door panels. The '69 was the last year for the ss and is the rarest of all years. Only a 427 was availble in '69. The trunk is so big you can sleep in it. I had mine carpeted and used to do just that when I took it to the shore in my younger (dumber) days.
