I just gotta share this info. Maybe I'm late, but a friend of mine took me to a Habitat for Humanity garage sale. I was looking for a post light. What I found was a NEW Kitchen Aid dishwasher. $55.00, out the door. Works great. Turns out, local businesses donate items they can't sell or scratch and dent stuff. Saw to many stoves (powder coat ovens), garage lights, shelves, cabinets, etc. for next to nothing. I even found "solid surface" countertops. Neat stuff. Just food for thought if anyone is trying to add to their "toy box".
I also found the perfect "stop rust from forming on my new metal" stuff. Fogging oil in a spray can. Found this stuff at AutoZone. I was trying to stop my newly ported heads from forming rust. I used oil, WD40, everything. Nothing seemed to work for long. I sprayed them with fogging oil last fall and they are still clean. Not a hint of surface rust. I am impressed. Again, just a little tip, food for thought.
