I thought the Briggs & Stratton keys were used for 67 and 68 as opposed to the square/oval GM keys, is this correct?

The keys for the wife's '67 (and I'm pretty sure they are the originals) are a six sided ignition key with Briggs & Stratton & a "bell" shaped trunk key with Rochester Products Division. The knock-outs are still in place and GM "Your key to greater value" is on both keys. The square/oval combo first came with Camaros in '69.

Remember the 67& 68 keys are different in codeing. They are not interchangeable. The Rochester Products was not on all the keys,it depended on if your locks were made there or not.See the CRG bullitn for the complete story.
