Hey guys, I have a set of doors off a 69 Camaro, original, never rust, but needs a tad of bumping/painting...If put them on E-Bay, what do you think they would go for?
Or is it not even worth putting them up for auction.
Thanks....

Going rate around here is about 300 bucks for a pair of doors in that condition, if you can find them. Maybe a little bit more on ebay, but shipping would be prohibitive.......KZ

I bought a pair on ebay a while back. The guy was in California and they were in great shape having been in up in the rafters for years. He had a difficult time packing them for shipment and one got damaged (Vandalized, stomped on during shipment. One made it fine. There is no such thing as insurance for this kind of thing. The truckers pay you pennies on the dollar for trashed "used auto parts" based on weight, not on stated value. Chevette doors the same rate as Camaro doors. Months of haggling, voicemail, forms, photocopies, and then, finaly a tiny check. I paid very little for the doors but the shipping was realy high and most ebayers know this so the price depends on location. Up in the rust belt, cherry ones are worth a LOT more than on the sunny left coast.

FWIW

-Mark.
