Well should be getting my new heads soon(trick flows)..But have a question I am going to order a new set of ARP head bolt...But have a few question..I have read not to use oil in the head bolts or it would change the torque specs...But I have been told I would have to use some type of sealer in some of the bolts where they cross into water passages(Is this correct?? if so What type of sealant do I use???)

Also could someone post a list of things I am going to need..Head Gaskets,Manifold gaskets..Black RTV...If anyone has a better list please post..Hate to start a project and have to stop because I forgot to get something..Also will be changing my manifold..Sent out a Victor Jr to get coated....Anyone recommend a gasket for the Victor JR.. Oh Yeah'' do I need a gasket for where the distributor sits on the manifold????Bare with me It has been a while.. Thanks Again

Use fel-pro 604 on the head bolts it is the greatest stuff I have come across. The price will scare you but it goes a long way.

I used a 1206 Fel Pro intake gasket with my Victor Jr. but it really depends on the size of the ports on the heads also. Maybe need a 1205 (one step smaller). Trick Flow should have a recommendation and they come with a new distributor gasket.

Trick flow recomends the fe-pro 1010 head gaskets...quite expensive but once you see them you'll know why. Don't forget to put the washers that trick flow gives you in...I let that slip and had to pull all the bolts and re-do them. I went back and put all the washers in after I saw some nasty pictures of what happens if you don't....I guess I probably should have to begin with. I used the the fel-pro head bolt set which alread came with sealer on them. Still haven't got to the intake gaskets yet. Here you go....
