Current carb: 429 HP at 6000 RPM, 400 ft/lbs @ 5000 RPM. At your stall speed - 98 HP and 258 ft/lbs TQ.

With a 750 carb: 442 HP @ 6500 RPM, 406 ft/lbs @ 5000 RPM. You will have even more problems with low end throttle response with a bigger carb - right now the smaller 600 is probably helping a lot down low.

With a smaller cam (Comp 282s): 445 HP at 6000 RPM, 450 ft/lbs @ 4500 RPM. At your current stall speed - 134 HP and 352 ft/lbs TQ.

IMO With your current cam you really need a bigger stall a lot worse than a bigger carb. To launch hard with that cam you need a stall in the 3500-3800 RPM range. IMO You could pick up half a second in the 1/4 with this change alone. Switch to a smaller cam like the Comp 282s combined with the change to a higher stall and you could knock off 3/4 second off your times IMO.
