Hi everyone.
I got a new fuel tank from NPD for my 67 Camaro. I put the POR15 clear on it and installed it.That was a few months ago.I looked under it today and it is caved in about where a strap is. I havent put gas in it or the fill tube. I know my boys havent done anything to it.
Any ideas whats going on and how to fix it? I was going to stick something in the tank and carefully try to push it out.
Anyone else have this.
Thanks, Matt.

Make sure the gas cap is allowing air to enter the tank.

This may not be important... but was a repro tank or a GM tank?

I don't have a fill tube hooked up yet so it can't build pressure or cause a vacuum.
I will try and loosen the strap the indent is by. Hopefully that will help.
It is a repo tank.
Thanks.
