My 69 still has one of the original exhaust hanger on it. The problem is I cant get it off becuase it is not bolted on to the underside but it is welded to a sheet that runs up the side of the trunk pan. On the drivers side behind the inner fender. The hanger itself is right next to the factory drain holes. It is really hard to explain this and I wish i had pictures. But it is not going to come off without tearing this slab of metal with it. Nad it will definatly leave holes through to the trunk if I tear it. Any other ideas? Is this the original setup?
Thanks if you understand
