I know that someone here reported that they used a RS washer jar for a radiator recovery tank. Since I don't use my washer jar on my '69 SS/RS, how easy is it to convert to use a recovery tank? Do you use the existing tubing and let it overflow/recover from the cap?
Thanks.

Very straight forward. I took the little screen off the siphon tube in the washer bottle and ran the overflow tube directly over. I believe I had to 'sleeve' the tube to fit the reservoir inlet.

This system works GREAT! I have this setup on my 69 and never have to worry about radiator levels. When hot my jar is at 2 pints. I see alot of cars at shows with antifreeze on the ground under the car. Mine never takes a dump.
