I am trying to finish up my restoration on a 1968 RS that came with the fiber optic option. All of the fiber optics are in place, but I am trying to figure out what holds my plastic lens cover in place over the rear package tray. Is there some sort of bracket? If anyone has pics or could share any info with me about this it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, -Ray-

The housing had a molded plastic peg on each side. They are nearly always broken off.

I have placed some pics at the following link. The housing has 3 pegs, two on top that go in their own hole and 1 on the bottom that fits in the same hole as the optic cable. One is broken off the top -- as William stated..... =t

Hope this helps,

edit: try again

Thanks so much guys. I have been trying to find out this information for months. I should have posted a question earlier.Mine are broken off, so I guess I will have to find a creative way to hold it in place. Any suggestions?
Thanks so much, -Ray-
