Has anyone heard of building a 1st Gen Camaro that incorporates a 4th Gen Camaro or Corvette chassis & suspension? Is this even possible?

Better yet, can a 1st Gen Camaro be equipped to pull something like 1g with mods to the OEM chassis?

I've searched the archives, but haven't had any luck finding info on a custom conversion like this. What I'm envisioning is a 4th Gen car on the inside that looks like a 1st Gen. from the outside.

That would be my car. If you want to not spend money in the $45k+ range, the stock chassis can be made to handle extreamly well. Check the Chassis and suspension, and search the archives for loads of good info.
Also try www.waynedue.com since he is the builder of my car, and offers bolt/weld in corvette suspension.
