I have been posting allot lately due to wrapping up my resto. I have another question in the area of "Anal" restoration. As I was freshening up the power steering box I found the faded but intact yellow sticker with the letter "AG" on it. I have seen aftermarket companies selling this decal for restoration but they only offer or at least show the letters "BA". What's the difference. Chevelle -vs- Camaro ?? I'm clueless. I do know that the power steering box is original..

Thanks as always....

Don't know the correct code, but a two letter code is used on the assy line to indicate what component should be installed. I'm sure an optional rato box used a different code than std.
The guys over at CRG are pretty good on these things...

AG = Variable Ratio gear - 16-12.4:1 Ratio

This if from information from Jim Shea a member over at Team Chevelle and a retired employee at Delphi Saginaw.
