I own a 67 Camaro RS. Does anybody have a good method of mounting the lower alternator bracket to the headers. I have the correct bracket for the application. My problem is, it is always comming loose. Like the bolts aren't getting a good enough bite. Kind of makes you a little nervous about driving it out of town.

have you tried longer header bolts?
or, if the head has accessory holes tapped into the end, go get an alternator bracket off a late 60's/ early 70's (up to 72) truck with a 350 in it. they had the short waterpump, and mounted the alternator bracket right on the end of the head. pretty slick.
