I was looking for some thoughts from people who have used Craig Woodruff to rebuild your Q-Jet.

I got a response looking for rebuilders and his name came up. Any impressions would be helpful.

Thanks

I asked the same question until I called him two weeks ago. I sent him two carbs. I chatted with Craig before I sent them out. Super nice guy. He does dozens of high end restoration carbs for many well known restorers. To include Jerry Macneish. Enough said !! I have had many people mail me with overwhelming results. Call him, I think you will be surprised. I should get mine back in a week or so..

I think his name has come up before and he would be a good choice.

he did a holley for my z a number of years ago, and a q-jet for my 68 in 99, a did just a great job. i put them on and they needed no adjustment, and they held up ( no leaks etc.) he does a great job on q-jets, well seals, rebushes shafts, eliminates bog. the detail plating he does on the carb will rip your face off. get him to do your carb.

Can you give me a estimate on what you paid for the Q-jet rebuild?
