What came first? camaro or firebird?

or were they twins?

The Camaro came first in 1966.

Good one.

I went to a swap meet recently and a guy was selling his 69 firebird. The body style was the same as the 68 camaro. I asked him, "are you sure it's a 69"? He swore it was. I'd recognize a 68 camaro body style anywhere since I've been quite intimate with mine lately. Did the 69 firebirds have a 68 camaro style body?

Nope, An easy way to tell is it had square fenders wheel openings like the 69 cam...Mike
