I need a 68 DF rim and this looks like the one I need but there is no date he can find and the D-15 hand painted marking is not in the ones I have ! Anyone else seen this before?? Thanks. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1872592343

Nobody EVER painted codes on the rim, either at Kelsey-Hayes or at the assembly plant; if it doesn't have the Kelsey-Hayes date code and the "DF" code STAMPED adjacent to the valve stem hole on the outside of the rim, it's not an original wheel - it's a reproduction. Another eBay con artist at work

I see the Bidding is only at 80.00. That is cheap. I have been selling mine off at 150.00 each. The early ones have no date stamps by the valve stem. I think I still have 5 or 6 left. Some with dates and some without. The Windows are a slightly different size and shape than the plentyful 15x7 rims also.
