When I get ready to find my next project, I'm going to get ahold of you guys to find me a car! I NEVER see anything in that price range that isn't pretty much junk. I'm not saying they don't exist, just that I never find them.

Heck, I just saw a local car in Autotrader that's asking $38,500. I've seen the car; it MIGHT be worth $15K.

What people ask for and what they get are two different things.

I tried to sell my 67 # matching RS convertable with a fresh interior, 327 engine and paint for $10,000 and didn't even get an offer.

BTW it's not far sale now.

Rick, I agree. It's just that I've seen several local cars going for $10K-$12K that needed to have virtually everything re-done.

I missed out on a little old lady one owner, all matching number 67 convert. yellow, 327 powerglide on the column. All original, needed complete make over, but not totally gone yet. Started and drove fine. At first the lady wanted $15K. Her grandson took it, washed it, vacuumed, polished etc. but no major work. After 2 months, no offers so they sold it for $10K. I missed that one.

Hook up with nantuckett 67. I say drive it over to Chico Ca. and trade the old lady for the BB pace car she has for sale. Just slide that baby right under the tarp and her son will never know the difference.
