Here is a VIN from a 68 camaro I'm looking at. Can anyone figure out what options or packages came with the car. RS, SS, Z28, RSSS etc...

You can post those numbers in the Tag Team section for help, But the 1968 Camaro Trim tags had the least ammount of info on them and without Documentation ( Build Sheet or Protect-Plate ) there is no way of knowing what the option package was on the car.

< edit > make sure you get the trim tag info if you can as Vin doesnt list options other then its a V8 coupe.

Welcome to the best Camaro site on Earth!

Sorry, but you will need to supply information other than the vin to determine those items. Unfortunately the '68 model year is the most difficult to pin down as far as options and packages go. All the vin will tell you on most any Camaro is the number of cylinders the motor had, whether it was a coupe or convertible, the point of assmebly and the general production time.

Visit this site to learn more about decoding the First Generation Camaros:

There you can find some answers. You might also want to use the search function on this site to see what other have asked/ found in the "tag team" section.
