Hello everone,

There is a 302 DZ camshaft listed on ebay they state that it is Part# 3927140. All of the part #'s I come up with for a 302 DZ is 3849346. Does this first part number sound right. If anyone would like to check out the auction here is the ebay auction # 1873456258. let me know what you think.

Thanks
Brent

I don't have the part numbers at my easy reach, but in many books the old 30 30 Duntov camshaft, which was used in the 365/375 HP smallblock Corvettes as well as the Z28's with the 302's was superceeded by the later LT1 camshaft. This is confusing to many people. Crane still sells a blueprinted version of the 30 30 camshaft although I don't think they still catalogue it.

Thanks Brent for the info. The 140 cam is the first off road design for the 302. You want at least 12:1 compression ratio to run this cam as GM recomends. I've used this cam and the stock 302 cam and like them both. But on a higher compression engine I really like the 140 cam, hands down.
