Guys & gals, my friend is working on his '68 and is stripping the remaining A/C parts off of it.

One of the few remaining pieces that we pulled off was the vacuum actuated flapper thing that goes under the cowl-close to where the passenger side wiper arm is.. This piece I think is what stops the A/C and heating system from pulling in outside air.

Do you guys know what this thing is called? I want to sell it on E-Bay as it is in excellent shape and somebody might want or need it.

It's called the "plenum valve" - switches the A/C system air intake between outside air and recirculating inside air.
