I have one on my 69 currently, I think it was aftermarket, and as soon as I get it back from the bodyshop, I'm taking it off...Mike

Im sure it was offered. In 1967; 0.1% of the Camaros were equipped with cruse control.

I don't know about 69, I had a 70 SS396/350 hp TH400 auto car that had cruise control. It also had the CA emissions (Charcoal canister)

Not a RPO regular production option for 69. K30 was available for 67-68 with 305 67 cars and 327 68 cars so it is quite rare factory equipped. I believe it would have to be a dealer installed over the counter accesory like baby seats and ski racks etc for 69. I have seen the baby seat but never seen a dealer installed ski rack.

My 69 BB has cruise control, looks original. AC part. How would I tell if it is factory or dealer added?

Not available in 69 as an RPO. RPO K30 was 67/68 only and at that it was pretty rare, 305 installed in 67, 327 in 68. Dealers could add it on after delivery.

Oops, should have read all the posts before replying.

69 had "Speedminder". Sort of a Pavlov's Dog approach to speed control. Buzzer went off if you exceeded the set point.

Hey panther! I haven't heard from you since what the PNWCC Christmas party last weekend? How's the 67 coming? Have you started in on the sheetmetal yet? I'll have to make it to the next meeting at the pizza joint. As for your question about the cruise control...I checked 2 books and asked around, so far I gather that cc was not offered as stock. Anyway, I can't wait to see pics of the project!
