Z bar hitting headers

Hi!

I'm converting TH350 to Muncie 4 speed. I'm trying to install my Z Bar but it's hitting my Headman Headers. I have ordered my conversion kit from Heartbeat City and installing it on my ZZ4 350 small block. I attached a few pictures...Do I have the correct Z Bar? I believe I have the pivot ball on the block correct. Do I need to replace my Headers?

Thanks, Paul.

Re: Z bar hitting headers

I have Hedman Hedders on mine, but I have long tube hedders on my 396BBC. I am thinking you need long tube headers. They curve around and end down at the bottom of the floorpan, giving more room up where the clutch connects. Someone will chime in I hope confirming.
