FW & BH bolts

Hello,

I'm changing my M20 for a T56.
Do I need to buy new bolts for the FW and BH or can I reuse mine?
Are the ARP better?

Thanks,
Fabien

Re: FW & BH bolts

Yes for FW replacement bolts. Not required for the Bell Housing in my opinion. ARP are the best. Only fastener I'll purchase.

I would agree. If you have split washers on the bell housing bolts, I would put fresh washers on them.

Re: FW & BH bolts

I forgot to ask about pressure plate bolts, do I need to buy new one?

Or the question could be, do I need to buy bolts when changing clutch

Re: FW & BH bolts

I would change the bolts to ARP. Not really that expensive and better than risking a failure.

Have you resolved the vibration issue?

Re: FW & BH bolts

Yes the price is not the problem, it is more that I don't know which one to buy and I don't want to make a mistake.
It should be this one : https://www.jegs.com/i/ARP/070/130-2201/10002/-1
Do I have to remove the flywheel during the installation?
I'm not sure if my block is a 2 piece (replacement block form mexico), if so I need the bolts : https://www.jegs.com/i/ARP/070/100-2801/10002/

For my vibration issue, the plan is the following :
- remove the trans and clutch
- start the engine and see if I still have vibration (I'm suspecting my clutch)
- if no vibration : take a beer
- if vibration : pull out the engine, check the crank and everything you guys said on the other thread.
