Question DC Control Question

Just installed one of these recently with the Taurus fan set up. Must say it works great in keeping the idle temp right @ 180 degrees without the fan ever going full blast. Of course, temps are only in the 70's right now so the real test comes this summer.

Have one question, when I shut the engine off, the fans runs for awhile and then makes a god awful high pitched whine coming from the fan motor for at least 30 seconds. Is this normal when using this controller? If I was to run the fan without benefit of the DC Controller, it doesn't make this noise at shut off.

I tried calling DC Controls but having little luck. Easy busy or no answer. No email address either.

Does anybody get a similar noise happening when using this (FK-35).

Re: DC Control Question

Thanks. Makes me feel better that I know the sound is not something going wrong. When my six year old asks "what is that weird noise" you start to second guess yourself.
