Help! A/C Blows Hot Air

I have a 2000 Camaro, 3.8 liter. The a/c only blows hot air. I checked to see if it needed freon but it does not. What could be the problem? Is thier anyway I can troubleshoot if so, for I can avoid being ripped off by an a/c repair shop.

Thanks

I had the same problem with a newer vehicle. Something got trapped in the plenum door, and it wouldn't move to allow cold air in. I had to end up replacing the inner box.

how much pressure you got with a/c not runnung in system you need at least 60-90 with a/c off. when you turn on need to check for power at a/c compressor. no power than need to go to low side switch and see if power there.power flow-fuse-pressure switch-low and high side= than to compressor. anything missing between no a/c.
