Compressor on wrong side

Bought a 67 camaro and the compressor is on the drivers side. .I would like to put it on the pass side likes it's supposed to be. Found the compressor mounting brakets at Rick's but they are $ 125. Anyone out there have some cheaper? Thanks, Wayne

Re: Compressor on wrong side

i'm going to guess that you have a long water pump setup from a later car- which means you will have to change everything that bolts to the front of the engine to do what you want to do, as well as moving the alternator wires around.
if it's just a matter of getting things working, maybe the AC hoses from a 69 Camaro will get the job done for you.

you don't plan sincerity.
you have to make it up on the spot.

wanna hear about 20 years ago when i was too smart to know any better?
