A/C Compressor Manifold

I am installing a 396 with the factory a/c into my 68 Camaro. Have all parts needed for the a/c swap except the directional manifold that bolts to the rear of the A-6 compressor for a V-8. Haven't been able to locate a nos ***'y or a used one at this point. Anyone have an idea where I might locate one or does anyone possibly have one to sell. The Item I need is on page 213 of the 68 Camaro assy manual (callout # 3 for V-8, upper picture).

Thanks , Paul

Re: A/C Compressor Manifold

Paul,

I'm looking for ac compressor braces & spacers (rear) for my 69. Evidently tough to find because so many guys tossed out the whole system back in the day. A couple of guys told me they see them all the time at their local auto parts swap meets. Theres a big one coming up next weekend up north and I'm going to put their theory to the test! Charlie 69 RS

ps: I can look for you as well if you can email me a picture from the 68 factory assembly manuel along with your phone number.

Paul, I should have what is needed. When I bought my '69, they had tried to convert to a short water pump with a mix of short and long waterpump brackets, pulleys, etc. It was a cobbled up mess. Anyway the a/c compressor came in the trunk with all brackets etc. for a short waterpump. I should have them out in my shed. Can you post a pic. so I know what to look for ? -Tom

I got that muffler hose assembly from old air products at the link I posted above. Not sure about BB parts but give em a call.
