A/C blower

We just installed a GM serpentine set-up with air on my ZZ383. The temp gets to about 52 degrees but it just doesn't blow out of the vents as hard as I would like it to. The guy I bought the car from said he replaced the heater core and when he did he said he put in a new blower motor at the same time. So it looks as if I tried another OER blower motor it may not do me any good. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Re: A/C blower

Try connecting the blower motor to 12V directly and not via the fan switch..
Maybe the switch has more resistance in it than it should..

(Just guessing.. I'm hopeless with electrical..)

Re: A/C blower

There is a resister usally mounted on the hetaer box somwhere that controls the fan speeds. I would start there and make sure the fan is coming up to full speed. Also check all of the cables that are operating the doors on the unit to make sure they are fully opening and closing the flapper doors, they are ajustable. Maybe some type of restriction in the unit it self mouse nest, rag Etc.

There are no problems only solutions
