Need Dimensions of Lower Rear AC Compressor Spacer

Hi everyone,

I can't seam to find this part for my 69 Small Block Camaro and need the dimensions (length, diameter and hole size) for the Lower Rear AC Compressor SPACER so that I can fabricate something similar. It's part number 3841722 and it's shown in the Factory Assembly Instruction Manual on page 212 as Number 12. Of course, if anyone has one of these that they are willing to part with, that would be even better! Thanks, Charlie

Re: Need Dimensions of Lower Rear AC Compressor Spacer

Charlie my lower rear compressor bolt hole bracket bolts direct to the exhaust manifold bracket with no spacer. My upper bracket that bolts to the intake bolts, has a gap of 1 7/8" and the spacer it self is 1.5" with 3 small washers making up the difference. Either you or I might have the wrong lower bracket then?

Re: Need Dimensions of Lower Rear AC Compressor Spacer

Jim,

My 69 has the original 350, ac compressor and front brackets, but when I got the car it had headers. I then located an original set of 69 exhaust manifolds that had been on an ac car and thanks to some really great guys here on tc, I now have the correct upper (GM part No. 3932436) and lower (GM part No. 3932435) rear brackets. Rick's 1st Generation is sending me the upper rear spacer (GM part No. 3932437), but they don't stock the lower rear spacer (GM part No. 3841722). I'm specifically referring to page 212 of the Factory Instruction Assembly Manual and VIEW A. There it shows the SPACER (referenced as part 13) with a GM part number of 3841722. Does that help? Thanks, Charlie
