How Much Freon?

Can anyone tell me what the quantity of freon is supposed to be in a 69 factory A/C system? Thanks

R12 is 52 oz (3.25 lbs) R12 is sold in 12 oz cans

R134a is 42 oz, 80% of what R12's weight, R134a is sold in 12 oz cans too.

Best way is with a 30 lbs bottle and a charging cylinder ( a freon measuring cup)

Dont forget the compressor oil first.
