Re: POA update
I know I wish I was making them.
$15-$20 in parts that sell for $95.
I don't care for the clutch cycling that the POA eliminator uses. I'd prefer a thermostat.
It does work though.
Youi COULD remove the innards of the stock POA valve and add either a Clutch cycling switch from an 80's-90's GM AC system on the R12 fill fitting and add a R134a fill splice in the #12 suction hose.
OR Clear out the guts of the POA, renove the R12 schrader valve, screw on the R134a fill fitting, and add a Thermostat to the evaporator. the thermocouple needs to fit in the Evap fins. Its an easy install too.
Either way would run about $40
Any way the wagon does blow 38* air on High fan.
