Anyone use Aeroquip EZ clip system?

Has anyone used the EZ clip system for both A/C and heater hoses? Do you like them?

I used them for my in-process build for the AC, but not the heater. I can only say that they are easy to work with and appear to provide a good leak proof connection.

Re: Anyone use Aeroquip EZ clip system?

Never used the EZ clip stuff but I have used their nickel plated steel A/C fittings and Stainless A/C hose to make the A/C lines for the Vintage Air setup in the Camaro. I had one issue with a fitting but it was my fault. I didn't get the hose flush into the brass compression fitting and it leaked. I took it apart, threw out the old compression fitting, cut a 1/8 inch off the hose and tried a second time. Got it right that time no leaks in over a year. Using the stainless braided hose is a pain but when you get it right it sure looks good.

There's a fine line between hobby and obsession and I think I crossed it!
