Delete heater core

I am not running a heater core. Can I cap off the outlets from water pump and intake, or does water need to pass from pump to manifold. Currently just a have a small hose from pump going into manifold inlet. I want to clean up the engine compartment some.

Re: Delete heater core

Plug the holes. No need for any bypass hose to clutter up the engine.

The only reason someone would want insurance is if they want to pay someone elses bills or want someone else to pay their bills.

Re: Delete heater core

If its a big block..you can ditch the bypass hose and install a bypass stat.
If its a smallblock..the bypass is intregal to the pump/block and a standard stat will suffice.
