Question running hotter

I installed va,it works good, but since I put it in,the car runs hotter. Not while idling but while drving. While sitting,it runs at 180,while driving with ac off it goes to 190-195.I has a new alum rad taurus elec fan.Whats up?

Re: running hotter

You replaced your stock radiator with a multi core(ac in side) radiator?

you might of been better off with a separate radiator and ac cooler. Do you know what your thermostat is rated at?

What is the radiator core size?

Re: running hotter

190-195 isn't hot at all.

How much vacuum advance did you add?
