Fan blows less on high

My blower fan blows less on high than medium. I replaced the fan relay and that didnt help. The plug next to the relay I took it out to look at and it had two wire coils but they arent burnt into what does this do anybody know? And what else could be my problem?

Swap out the fan control switch. Good chance that's the problem.

Re: Fan blows less on high

is this an over the counter part or will it have to come from one of the vendors on here? the switch in the dash is what you are talking about right?

Re: Fan blows less on high

parkbrau,

Wow, the Holy Grail of the 1967 AC system (except for maybe the vacuum switch to kick in the compressor). They could have charged $100 (please don't charge $100).

Thanks,

Michael

Re: Fan blows less on high

I have had this problem about 3 or 4 times on 2 different Camaro's. It never turned out to be the switch on the a/c control panel. I would check out this tread below, it may be something simple like the in-line fuse, or a bad ground. The last time it happened to me, I think it turned out to be a bad ground wire pertaining to the relay on the suitcase.
