Aftermarket Air Conditioning

I was searching for threads on this subject as I want to install in my 68 vert. Where would I look?
Has anyone here installed a system and what are you comments?

Re: Aftermarket Air Conditioning

I put a vintage air in that i purchased from Frank. As far as Bolt on item this is about the easiest i have done.!!! The system works amazing, and install is moderate. I would say it is about a weekend project maybe a little extra. The only thing that is critical is the evac and fill. The system keeps my BLACK car cool on 95 100 degree days and this summer we have had lots. Great system. Put alittle tlc on the install and you will be very happy!!!! if i can help let me know Wes.

My 68 vert is being restored and the restorer is putting on VA as we speak (I think). Any questions you have I can pass on to him.

No not the same thing. VA is quite advanced. Only Vintage Air Gen IV is OEM quality and is used in OEM applications
