CSR ELECTRIC WATER PUMP - water feed query

HAS ANYONE FITTED UP A CSR ELECTRIC WATER PUMP TO THEIR CHEVY?
THE WATER OUTLET DOES NOT TAKE THE STANDARD LOWER RADIATOR HOSE.

I WAS THINKING OF INSTALLING A DASH 12 BRAIDED LINE AND FITTINGS - RADIATOR OUTLET WOULD NEED DASH 12 OUTLET WELDED IN PLACE.

WE TRIED TO SEE IF A DASH 16 FITTING WOULD INSTALL IN THE PUMP BUT THERE IS NOT ENOUGH CLEARANCE. tHE DASH 12 FITTING WOULD ALSO NEED TO BE MODIFIED OR THE PUMP HOUSING CLEARANCED SO THE FEMALE FITTING COULD BE INSTALLED.

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT OTHERS HAVE DONE - ANY PICS OR INFORMATION WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL.
THANKS

Dash 12 or 16!
You're going to replace the OE 2" i.d. hose with a 0.75" or 1" i.d. and use a weaker water pump as well?

Drag strip only car, yeah?

Re: CSR ELECTRIC WATER PUMP - water feed query

Electric pumps and AN16 lines can work just fine on driver cars as long as the radiator and electric fans are beefy. I have been running a Meziere 55 GPH pump with AN16 fittinngs for years. I just did a 200+ mile round trip with lots of traffic in 95 F heat. The car never went over 200 F. My Meziere pump has the optional AN16 fittings. The radiator has welded-on AN16 fittings.

The AN16 hose in your pic does look larger. Not AN20? ..almost the OE size..
I have AN12 oil lines and that's heater hose basically. I'm not sure my BB would do too well with either of those sizes.

Re: CSR ELECTRIC WATER PUMP - water feed query

AN20 makes more sense.. I sure hope Daza doesn't opt for AN12..
