68 a/c wiring from conrtol assembly to firewall.

Hi there,

I have a 68 camaro with factory 4 season a/c.

Sadly at some stage someone has removed the wiring harness from the fan speed switch and selector control assembly (low blow switch).

Luckely i found the factory harness.

The way i see it, i cant really come through the glove box (duct work issues), removing trim plate etc does not give access to behind control assembly and i dont really want to remove instrument gauges to get behind control assembly.

Im leaning towards removing am/fm radio and muti plex set up. Looks like a job though. A/c duct work to deal with behind am/fm radio.

or

Removing dash pad??? not sure on access from there though.

Any suggestions would definately make things a little easier as i may have missed something.

Cheers

I dont know about 68, but for a 69 I removed the radio to get at the A/C controller and all wiring.

Hi there,

Hows things over there?

Yeah im thinking so to.

If someone could post pictures of a/c wiring resistor, relay and ambient sensor (engine bay) that would be awesome.

Cheers.
