Vintage Air Question

I am installing the Gen 4 kit in a 69 camaro. The last one I did I put the bulkhead in the firewall behind the fender.

Frank @ Prodigy recommends using a rubber grommet for the hoses to pass thru which would eleminate any leaks at the fittings on the 4 way bulkhead. It would be a continuous hose from the unit inside to the engine compartment. We have left a message with Frank but he has not retuned our call.

I am looking for the rubber grommet. Does anyone know the part number? Where do you get it?

I am assuming it would go in the old blower motor hole. I see on Vintage Air website they sell the plug for the firewall but not the grommet.

Re: Vintage Air Question

Ok I called Vintage Air. The plate kit is from a 64-67 Chevelle kit. You have to buy the parts individually.

You will need these parts.

1- Plate- 62566-VCE
1- Bracket- 64164- VCB
4- Rubber Grommets- 33137-VUI

I figured I would supply the part numbers incase someone else does it like this.

Re: Vintage Air Question

Frank told me just to use rubber grommets from the hardware store. Makes sense.

This is true if you have already smoothed the firewall. If you still have the blower hole then the above kit goes in that hole.
