Hang Under Dash AC Systems

Ok, I am a hard head. I just finished a rotisserie restoration of my 1967 body to include refinishing the dash back to perfect unmolested condition. I am not real keen on drilling huge holes in it to route Aftermarket Airconditioning. I would consider having a hang under style like they actually had in the late 60's Early 70's. Vintage Air has one they are real proud of. They have the slim line and the Mark IV systems, Has anyone used either of these systems? I really do not like that the regular system can not get fresh air to the Heat Defrost system, and when I ask them about it they wanted me to take time to call them about it. I don't want them to argue with me about the merits of defrost air from outside the car, I just want an underdash unit that cools. I have a console car with Gauges also, so the unit will be only under the Right side of the dash. I am open to suggestions or ideas. (A little bit any way)

Re: Hang Under Dash AC Systems

I have righthand under dash evaporators available, as well as all the other parts, compressor, mount, condenser, drier etc.
The powrhead is the same but has extra venting that extends to the left (face is twice as wide) to get the driver some air.
