edelbrock performer aluminum heads too hot?

I have a friend that warmed his car up to 220 degrees with aluminum heads. This lasted for 10 minutes. Do you think he caused damage?

LS1's run about 210 degrees all the time. Should be fine. Every time the car gets shut off they'll heat up pretty good.

If he had anti-freeze and a high pressure cap it never reached boiling point. I've went well over 220 a couple of times with aluminum heads and never hurt anything. It should be fine.
