BBC Tall valve covers with A/C

Has anyone tried to modify (by modify I mean cut, trim and re-fiberglass) the origional BBC A/C suitcase to gain enough room for tall Chevrolet valve covers?

A original BBC A/C case is pretty valuable. I would get a small block case and modify it before I would do your BB case.

So a small block case will fit? Or should I just plan on putting Vintage Air in it?

What is the difference between a BB case and a SB case?
