Identifying my Heater Control Faceplate

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to get some help. I am restoring a 68 Camaro Coupe and need help with identifying my heater with A/C faceplate. I searched all over the net to find a faceplate with the same lettering. The attached picture is what I bought the car with. Can someone please point me in the right direction of a new faceplate or if this heater control is not the right one for my car. Thanks

Hey,
Are you from Killeen, TX? Give these people a call (toll free) & tell them what you want. Their Camaro business has been family owned & operated for years. I deal with them all the time.

They are also one of the sponsors of this site.

Thanks for the heads up, I have been dealing with firewheel classics. I am just going to change my face plate and it will correct the lettering.

Re: Identifying my Heater Control Faceplate

Ricks sells a "correct" control lens but the oldest photo I have matches yours. Its on page 134 of Ray Miller's Camaro:Chevy's Classy Chassis. Rick's and Classics does not match yours and the books.

http://www.rickscamaros.com/camaro-h...ning-1968.html has different wording and locations but is listed as factory correct.

I would just spit polish what you have for the time being.
