Is this Shut Off Vent used on 67 Camaro?

Hey guys, I have an Assembly Manual for a 67 Camaro and I don't see where this shut off vent is used for A/C cars. Was this a 68 Camaro only vent? Part no DE67LH and DE67RH

Thanks,
Tony

Re: Is this Shut Off Vent used on 67 Camaro?

I'm looking at the 67 & the 68 AIM and I see that shutoff shown in the 68 manual for non A/C cars. They call it a valve and left & right are the same since the factory lists the rod seperately. GM part # 3935976. The 67 & 68 A/C cars show an "adaptor" instead which has no rod and is part # 3906099. You guys with 67 & 68 Camaros with factory A/C, do you have a shutoff knob sticking out of the dash beside the vent or not ? The 67 non A/C vent is easy to spot. It's chrome plated, triangular, has glass in it, sits in front of the door window....

Those are for 68's with Astro ventilation. (non a/c). Neither year A/C car used those.
