Re: !967 Camaro heater cable question

I don't know as all my 1st gens have been non-AC thanks to SoCal weather.

I hope a mod moves this to the correct forum for you.

Re: !967 Camaro heater cable question

Well, the 2 control heads are different (AC head is mechanical/vacuum/electrical while the non-AC is mechanical/electrical). The cables are all Bowden type of different lenghts (if that helps). And the passenger compartment airboxs are vastly different.

What's your real question?

Re: !967 Camaro heater cable question

My car was a factory AC car but converted to non AC long ago. The firewall has been fitted with a stainless plate and non AC heater box in the engine bay. Not quite sure if it is AC or Non AC on the inside. By the quality of the work on the outside I would think it was followed through on the inside but not sure what inside box I have in there. I have never had cables hooked up. Is there a way to tell the difference on the inside box so I know what cables to get?

Thank you for your help
