Braided hose sleeve covers question.

I like the look of those kits and am looking to dress up a few radiator hoses but wonder how difficult they would be to install. Anyone have experience with these? If so...how hard are they to work with and what challenges did you face?

Re: Braided hose sleeve covers question.

I got a kit from Summit awhile back. Wasn't really impressed as when you install it over the hose it's very difficult to get it uniform and the braids end up twisted with gaps.

Re: Braided hose sleeve covers question.

Same experience when my dad put them on his 68, didn't look nice at all. The stainless/chrome rad./heater hoses are much nicer however they are much more money.

Re: Braided hose sleeve covers question.

I had a set on my car years ago. I did not like them.
