A/M Kick panels w/speakers how do you control venting?

I have a 69 w/o air and am wanting to install some kick panel speakers or A/M kicks with speakers. I am wondering how would you control the vents without any cable controls? I have searched and found nothing, during the heat we have down here it is some help to get air flowing through the car to make it less of a sweat box. And in the cooler months you may not want any extra air blowing through.

69's must be different than 68's. Just got today a pair of Retro-Autosound kick panels for my 68 with Pioneer 120w speakers in them and the vents have a simple sliding plate on the backside to adjust or completely close off the airflow. If you want pictures just let me know as I won't be installing them for several weeks.

Here is the front view. The silver knob is the vent slider.

Here is the back side view showing the vent, how it slides, and the speaker.

Re: A/M Kick panels w/speakers how do you control venting?

The 69 has holes in the body frame back from the vent that speakers can mount into and the kick panel get a hole cut to suit....It doesnt interfer with the cooling or heat ducking at all.

My Spelling is not incorrect...it is creative
