Trinary switch wiring ??replaces clutch relay???

I'm trying to wire up my 'factory A/C' before I get it charged and now have an LS3 engine with an electric fan. I have a trinary switch that will be adding/located right off the drier for the A/C and the wires go to both the fan relay and the compressor, a ground, and to I believe the A/C switch on the dash. Apparently the function is when the A/C is turned on it will allow a ground signal to the compressor to run if pressure parameters are met. Apparently the trinary switch also will turn on the fan either the entire time the A/C is on or while the compressor is running (I'm not sure which).

1) I have a STOCK green wire that comes from (I believe) the slide switch in the dash for A/c,
2) I have another wire going to the fan relay that seems to be tied to a wire from the LS3 harness (which I believe is a temp sensor wire) [both of which can supply the ground for the fan relay to engage
3) I have the black wire coming from my compressor.
4) and finally I assume I also need to make a separate ground wire

If I hook those wires up per the photo diagram below everything should work, BUT...
in the second photo I have the compressor clutch relay switch (screwed into the line on passenger side by firewall). Can this relay be eliminated because the trinary switch performs its function or do I somehow need to put this relay in line somehow to the compressor as well?

Please correct any of my misinformation!
