69 Vintage air hose routing

Searched and didnt see much on this... sorry if i missed something, but.. im installing the kit that lets you route the hoses thru the kick plate. They provide short stubs for the AC hoses to get crimped to coming off the unit. Has anyone done this? The bends coming off the fittings will be so tight, i'm afraid this will turn into a leak point, not to mention just plain ugly. Any advice?

You may have to get different angle fittings to work better.

Re: 69 Vintage air hose routing

I have been fooling around with my Vintage Air for a couple months now, LOL. All I can say its a PITA using an inline Bulkhead. I'm about $200 into it now with new/different fittings/hoses, and still need to tweak it some.

Re: 69 Vintage air hose routing

I used the E-Z clip hoses and connectors on my install. It was still a pita figuring out which way to route them. They flex more than the bigger hoses that come with the kit and smaller.

A shot of how I routed my heater hoses without pinching.
