Center Dash A/C Vent means Factory A/C ?

Hi
I was curious does the presence of a center A/C vent on a 1967-68 Camaro automatically indicate a Factory A/C Car?
or was there some kind of other vent option wich this vent could be installed but no factory A/C?
Thanks!

No, only on A/C cars. Without A/C, that area was always blocked off from the factory.

Does it have any other A\C parts? Its possible someone changed just that part if it was better than the one that was in the car originally.

Felix, in your picture it also shows the factory style ac controls. They are slightly different than the non AC ones. Another clue is on the engine side. The AC and non AC openings are shaped different (even if the components are there anymore).

Im just wondering because sometimes the sellers pics may not include that part of the engine bay but I see a center vent,
,so that automatically means an A/C car

Usually, especially if the AC specific controls are present. But as mentioned, it is possible someone could just change out the cover and put that chrome air deflector piece in. Lots of odd things happen to cars over the years. Bottom line, verify rather than assume. If they don't show all the details, ask the seller.
